Nothing You Won't Find Elsewhere

I'm a bit disappointed by this book because I had really high expectations. Male erotic art has really evolved over time - from sculpted bodies, to posed and natural nudes, to images focused squarely on the penis, to men in a state of physical arousal. I expected that 'CUM' would break new ground here. It just seemed like a natural progression, to be able to portray the result of men enjoying their bodies.

The book is basically just porn.

Maybe that is just me, but the number of images sourced from porn studios (credited at the end), would suggest otherwise. The images are common - the Internet is full of similar (and better quality) images with the same theme.

I was hoping that the publisher would be looking to really push the boundaries of male erotic photography with fearless original work.

Disappointed.

It's not what I had hoped. I was really looking for more intense photography and originality; some things natural, caring, raunchy, and downright getting French dirty into it. I did find the drawings by some of the artists are very well done, however.

DOIN' WHAT COMES NATUR'LLY!

It shows how far we've come (no pun intended) when we can buy a book with such a controversial title without raising too many eyebrows. This is a very well done gay erotica book loaded with a wide selection of beautiful photos and drawings of men doing what comes naturally. Photos from porn films and erotic model shoots are tastefully mixed in with sketches and graphic art (very graphic!) by such artists as Zack, Michael Kirwan, Patrick Fillion and Rusty McPhee et al. A nice variety of solos and duos, body shots, facials, snowballing; in fact an excellent collection of the vital male protein flying everywhere! Something for everyone! Perhaps my only reservation with this book is that many of the items have appeared in various other Bruno Gmunder publications but whilst I have all those books, it still didn't spoil my appreciation of having all these cum-shots compiled in this one big handsomely designed book.

Gilead Sher, former Bureau Chief and Policy Coordinator of Prime Minister Barak, acted as chief negotiator in the historic talks of 1999–2001 at the Camp David summit and the Taba talks with the Palestinians. Sher is one of Israel’s most reputable attorneys.

Best book on Camp David to Taba

Whilst there have been a number of books on this topic such as Enderlin's Shattered Dreams, Swisher's The Truth About Camp David and Dennis's Ross's verbose recollections in The Missing Peace, Gilead Sher's book is by far the best.

Filled with details of every meeting, discussion between Israelis, Palestinians and Americans, it fills in the missing details as to the motives and positions of the principal players in the negotiations. It reveals that the reason for the breakdown in the negotiations was complex and multi-causal, not simply a case of "exposing Arafat's face" as has so damagingly been popularised in Israeli and Jewish circles.

As Israel approaches a new round of final status negotiations after a break over six years, the Israeli government should have a good read of Sher's book for instruction. The time for wishful thinking regarding a final agreement is over - an agreement in the spirit of the Clinton parameters remains the best resolution of the final status issues, which as Sher sets out the Israeli government accepted, subject to minor clarifications over six years ago.

Wish you could be fly on the wall of the Camp David negotiations? Now you are

Yes, it's a history book. Yes, it is written by someone who was there, in the room, rather than by an author who merely interviewed participants. The answer is "yes" to all the questions which make this book a must read.

But, where this book distinguishes itself from dry historical accounts is that the author puts you right there. You are in the room with the key players. One is made to feel like the proverbial fly on the wall. The author, paints a word picture that leaves one smelling the cigars, the food, the tension, the fatigue of all night negotiations, and the emotional whipsaw of being inches from the finish line - the elusive peace.

A dry historical account it is not. The author fleshes out each of the key players. One comes to know their personalities and personal agendas. Their personalities come to life and evolve from two dimensional newspaper caricatures to three dimensional complex figures.

For one, such as myself, who started with the belief that a Palestinian/Israeli peace agreement is a fantasy, it is a strange journey to the truth. Peace, even if a cold peace, we come to learn, was, and still is, more a question of political will, driven by public perception, than it is an issue of security, borders, settlements, demographics, rights of return, and Jerusalem.

Gilead is my brother, so naturally, I am not objective, then again, knowing him personally, I can attest to his unyielding honesty, extraordinary analytical brightness and deep commitment to a fair solution to the Palestinian Israeli conflict.

Refelecting these qualities, "Within Reach," a best seller in Israel, and published illegally in the Arab Press, provides a fascinating insight into the overt and covert negotiations, detailing the Israeli and Palestinian positions on the core issues of the conflict -- Palestinian Refugees Right of Return, Jerusalem, Settlements, Security and Territories, Water. It recounts the ups and downs of the negotiations, the "players" personalities, the decision making process and the proposed solutions, which will no doubt serve as the blueprint for any future negotiations.

I highly recommend it for anyone interested in Israel, in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and most importantly, in the parameters of a possible agreement for the End of Conflict.

Excellent book for Juniors and adults or ANYONE who needs to learn how to win

I first bought this book in the 80s when I played junior tennis in Northern California. I was struggling to move up in the Varsity ladder in my high school when I realized I needed to understand the psychology and mental aspect of competition performance. In other words: "Why is it I can hit the ball like a pro in practice but on game day, I just dink the ball back and choke?" This book uncovers the unique psychology of human tendencies and how to manage them for successful results.

After reading this book, I reached the No.1 singles spot on our varsity team, all conference, varsity MVP and have enjoyed decades of successful results in my game. It is an enjoyable book. A very easy read while delivering profound content and usable concepts you can apply and practice immediately.

Sorry for the lengthy editorial. This book is sentimental for me as it marked a turning point of sorts in my life as a young player and teenager. Inside the cover of my book, I had written the score of one of my most memorable tennis matches in high school. It was a 3 set match which I won the tiebreaker 7-5. It was kids' version Lendl vs. MacEnroe. I was the serve and volleyer that didn't have confidence in my groundies versus the big forehand guy. Go big or go home so I came to the net until he folded. A book for those who dare to follow their dreams.

This is a wonderful book about a man who gives up a very successful career in the insurance business in order to follow his dream of becoming a writer. By choosing this path he gives up the security of a steady income to enter the uncertain future of being a first time author. Although he and his family struggle to make ends meet, his gamble finally pays off and his first work becomes a national best seller.
This book is also about the main character's desire to spend more quality time with his family, especially his children. Readers will identify with the feelings brought forth as they read this book because many of us know the pain of working so hard that we are not around to see our babies growing up. I recommend this book highly as well as all of Og Mandino's books. A good book to read after "The Choice" is "A Better Way to Live". This book's title is taken from the fictitional title of the book written in "The Choice". It tells the real life story of Og Mandino's own struggle and success in his own life.

Folklorist and author Hausman has combined ten years of informal study in Jamaica, the 1922 version of "The Queen of Sheba and Her Only Son Menyelek" (translated by E.A. Wallis Budge), the Koran, the King James Bible, and the words of reggae great Bob Marley into a new version of the Kebra Negast ("the glory of the Kings"). This "lost bible," the core of Rastafarian wisdom and faith, has survived through oral tradition in many Caribbean nations, even though it has been banned because of its African glory themes. Hausman effectively puts the Kebra Negast into the words of the Rastafarian community, presenting the core?that "we must learn to live by the laws of compassion rather than judgment"?through anecdotes from the author's travels in the Rasta community. Let the reader beware

This version is not to be confused with the classic text of Ethiopian religion/mythology of the same name. This version contains excerpts from the classical ancient text and combines it with anecdotes and sayings of rasafarianism, which is itself a recent concept dating back to the days of Selassie's coronation in 1930 (another story altogther). Basically, this version tries to connect the classic text with modern rastafarianism. If you're interested in rastafarianism, you can go ahead with this. But if you're interested in an English translation of the actual Kebra Nagast (Glory of Kings), see the E.A. Wallace Budge translation or the Miguel Brooks translation.
